A More Electric Hybrid
Plug-in Conversion Modules increase the electric capability of the Prius hybrid platform by supplementing the vehicle's factory battery. The Conversion Module's greater stored energy capacity allows the Prius to use electric drive more often and for longer distances, engaging the petrol engine less frequently and resulting in large fuel efficiency gains over the standard Toyota Prius (100+ MPG dependant on use) .
The Conversion Modules are based on LiFePO4 Lithium Phosphate Chemistry batteries that deliver higher levels of power, safety, and life than conventional batteries.
